Andersen

Andersen Windows has been in business since the turn of the twentieth centurty, when Hans Andersen and his family started the company in Hudson Wisconsin. The first windows Andersen made were of wood from logs that had been shipped up the St. Croix River. Today, the Andersen window business has grown to other window products and doors as well. The company is spread out across the globe with over 9,000 employees at more than 20 locations. The 2.8 million-square-foot headquarters is in Bayport, MN, which spans across 65 acres of land. Each year, Andersen manufactures upwards of 6 million new construction windows, replacement windows, and doors to distribute to consumers worldwide. The Andersen website outlines various developments in the manufacturing process for windows and doors.
